PULSATILLA

ENT AND RESPIRATORY INDICATIONS:

• Acute and chronic rhinitis with concomitant loss of taste and smell.

• Clogged nose in the evening and at night with secretion in the morning and during the day - deterioration in a warm room and improvement in the fresh air.

• Recurrent rhinopharyngitis.

• Bronchitis in the catarrhal phase, recurrent bronchitis with the modalities already described.

• Purulent otitis with yellow non-irritating secretion.

DIGESTIVE DISORDERS:

• Asthenic dyspepsia with the characteristics described above.

• Dislike greasy foods, sweets, ice cream, which tastes sick.

• Stomach problems after excessive consumption of fatty foods.

• Very variable symptoms, feces of variable consistency and color, constipation or diarrhea, colic with flatulence.

GYNECOLOGICAL INDICATIONS:

• In endocrine and circulatory disorders of young girls and women corresponding to the sensitive type.

Significantly variable symptoms: delayed menstruation, short, intermittent with black blood, frequent premenstrual syndrome with classical triad: tense painful breasts, pressure in the pelvis, deterioration of the psyche.

Extensive dense leukorrhea (non-irritant or slightly irritating), sometimes lactic leukorrhea, may also occur.

DISEASES OF THE VASCULAR SYSTEM:

• Venous congestion and stasis: erythrocyanosis of the limbs, dilated veins of the face, thighs and legs (as bluish strips).

• In summer, heat and immobility, the limbs are heavy, painful and swollen.

• Varicose veins, varicose ulcers, consequences of phlebitis.

• Cold-sensitive limbs, frostbite (suitable supplement: Agaricus, Tuberculinum).

DEPRESSIVE SPEECHES:

• Reactive depressive states in a sensitive type.

OTHER INDICATIONS:

• Skin manifestations: morbiliform rash, skin cyanosis, frostbite with itching, exacerbated by the heat of the bed.

• Infectious diseases: morbillium, rubella.

• It is used at the beginning of the disease, unless eye and nasal catarrh is irritating.

• Typical morbiliform eruptions are characteristic of Pulsatilla as well as the absence of thirst in fever.

• Pulsatilla is indicated in the stage of complications: otitis, bronchitis in the catarrhal phase.

• Mumps: orchitis and inflammation of the ovaries.

• Conjunctivitis, blepharitis, hordeolum.

CHARACTERISTICS - FEELINGS: Extreme variability of painful sensations; the pain may appear suddenly and disappear slowly; feeling cold and freezing despite fears of heat and a great desire for fresh air; warm body with cold hands and feet (variability). Dryness, taste and bitterness in the morning when you wake up. Feeling full, stone in the stomach after waking up or 2 hours after eating. Limb pain worsens when left to hang freely; feeling of fullness of dilated veins; itching exacerbated by bed heat; painful pressure in the breasts before menstruation.

MODALITIES: Heat deterioration; after soaking the feet; rest; at the beginning of the movement; at dusk; before and during menstruation; in puberty or pregnancy. Improvement with fresh air or local tiles; movement; comforting. Topography: contractile pain and signs of inflammation; unilaterality of some symptoms or feelings (headache, feeling cold and warm, sweating).

ACCOMPANYING CHARACTERISTICS: Freezing accompanied by often painful crises; absence of thirst; taste of ice cream (poorly tolerated); appetite for spicy foods; intolerance to fatty foods; crying in pain or talking about your problems. More at adcc.sk
